Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Peachland is partnering with fitness instructor Carla Miller to offer Spring Youth Conditioning classes from April 6 to May 11th. Spring Youth Conditioning is a great opportunity for youth to ease into a fitness routine and expand their knowledge of healthy fitness practices.
Classes will give youth sport-specific training with a variety of special equipment. Training can be tailored for dance, soccer, martial arts, volleyball, and even skateboarding. All sports backgrounds can be accommodated, even youth with non-sports backgrounds can create their own workout routines with Carla. Agility, core strength, coordination, and other fundamental skills will be incorporated into every workout regime.
Classes take place on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30PM. Six class packages cost only $12, while single-class drop-ins cost $5 each. Youth should bring water, athletic clothing, and runners. Information on the program can be downloaded here.
We are grateful to Carla for offering affordable fitness classes to the youth in Peachland! With over 25 years in the fitness industry, Carla has taught locally for over two years. She has often been involved in Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Peachland's programming.
