Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Welcome Two New Members to Their Board of Directors

Kelowna, BC – The Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs is pleased to welcome the addition of two new members to their Board of Directors.

Jill Hotchkiss was born and raised in Kelowna, worked for the Central Okanagan School District, and has recently retired. She has served on a number of boards, most recently the Kelowna Community Policing Association. She is a volunteer in the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Youth Restorative Justice Program, and has experience in fundraising and running a business. Her passion is to help create a safe and enjoyable community for all ages.

Barbara Rigg was a teacher, and has also recently retired. She has a real commitment to giving back to the organization through volunteering and has developed the popular Community Kitchen Program at the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs’ Martin Avenue Centre. Through this program she shares her passion for nutrition and families.

The Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs is a leading provider of programs to children and youth that support the healthy physical, educational and social development for young people and families each year throughout the Okanagan valley. Our 37 service locations across the Okanagan Valley provide inclusive, supportive, respectful and fun places for all young people who walk through our doors to have a safe place to belong.
