Jenn Paquette, Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs staff,  attended Mount Boucherie Secondary School to receive a cheque for $500 raised by the students in the Mount Boucherie Secondary School Rotary Interact Club.

Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 12 - 18. Each Interact Club is sponsored by a local Rotary Club - and the Mount Boucherie Secondary School Rotary Interact Club is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Westbank.

The students decide together what they will raise money for. They discussed the need for youth shelter, and noted that there isn't one on the Westside. When they learned there was one in Kelowna, that does serve the Westside too, they chose to support the Youth Shelter in Kelowna.”
