CARING in Colour - Sherwin-Williams

S Wkids4On May 30, 2015 Sherwin-Williams Staff located in Vernon provided the gift of their time! Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs - Vernon were the lucky recipients of a paint project. After a consultation about colour choice and needs; four volunteers from the local General Paint store in Vernon arrived at the Vernon Club.

The volunteers were armed with paint supplies and contagious enthusiasm to make a difference. The project proved to be more work that expected - hallways, three rooms, doors and trim! A daycare sees a lot of action during the week so the rooms needed the talents of the Sherwin Williams Team. The daycare space was transformed. The project has proven to have a positive impact on our young members & staff. The children attending the daycare have been focused on role playing the job of a painter since they arrived on Monday morning. The volunteers even left our little members with painters caps! The staff are happy to have a new bright space that has created a clean and fresh work environment.

Thank-you Sherwin-Williams Volunteers for making a difference at the Vernon Club.
