3 Ways Peachland Teens can Get Active with OBGC

Taking care of the body is just as important as taking care of the mind. Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Peachland is teaching youth how to care for both mind and body with their 2016 Healthy Teens programs. The first of three programs will kick off on September 22nd.

Youth Conditioning is a co-ed program for youth ages thirteen and up. Experienced staff will help participants build core strength and practice balance. After the forty-five minute class, participants can refuel with nutritious smoothies!

From October 20th to November 10th, Healthy Teens is all about Girl Power. This program seeks to help girls ages thirteen and up feel beautiful inside and out. The first two weeks include a work out and organic facial lesson. The final weeks include goal setting, tea, and lots of lessons on healthy eating.

The final program of 2016 is Guys Game Night. From November 17th to December 8th, boys ages thirteen and up can hang out for a night of Pool, Foosball, Ping-Pong, or Air Hockey. There are also plenty of cards and Wii games for everyone to use!
